Recycling Center
The city of Dumas and Desha County opened a recycling center in 1996 for the following items: corrugated cardboard, aluminum, newspaper and textiles. We currently have a full time supervisor and two full time employees to make this successful. Recycling is an area just beginning to be recognized by the city and county. They have become more involved in this effort. The City of Dumas and Desha County work on this as a joint project to meet our community's recycling needs.
